Ladies’ Night

A room full of women, a short session in front of the camera, and an evening built around it.

How the night works

You arrive, you get a drink, and at some point in the evening your name is called. Your session runs about ten minutes across three sets built for that night’s theme. Then you go back to the room and watch everyone else take their turn.

Every ticket includes your session and a finished digital image. Come alone, come with your sister, come with four friends who talked you into it.

No experience required. You will be shown what to do.

Soft and hard in the same frame. Shot inside the mansion, where the rooms do half the work before the lights are even up.

  • 5:00 to 9:00 PM, sessions run about ten minutes

Blood & Velvet

The Millwald Theatre · 205 W Main Street, Wytheville

A speakeasy inside a hundred-year-old theatre. While you wait your turn, you are playing a murder mystery written for this building, about a Wythe County girl who was booked for opening night in 1928 and never took the stage. Everyone in the room tells a different version of what happened to her.

The Witches’ Ball

Practical Magic, not a costume contest. Herbs drying overhead, candles low, a dark greenhouse of a room. Wear whatever version of a witch you have been waiting to be, and we will shoot it as editorial boudoir.

Questions women actually ask

I have never done anything like this.

Most of the room hasn’t either. You will be told where to put your hands, where to look, and when to breathe. Nobody is left standing there guessing.

What do I wear?

Whatever the theme pulls out of you. Bring options. There is somewhere private to change and someone to help you decide once you see the sets.

Can I come by myself?

Yes, and plenty do. You will not be the only one. The waiting is half the evening and it is where most of the friendships start.

Who sees the photos?

You do. Nothing is shared publicly without your written say-so, and no is a complete answer that costs you nothing.

What do I actually get?

Your session and one finished digital image are included in the ticket. After the night you can add more: single images are $30, packages start at $125, and the full gallery is $400.

Is there a size or age limit?

No. Every body gets photographed the same way, with the same care and the same lighting.

Not this one, but the next one

New dates go out to this list before they go anywhere else. Themes are announced about a month ahead, and retreats in West Virginia and Pigeon Forge are in the works.
